Hi, I'm soon going to reformat my PC (win7 64 bit), and I'm trying to remember if I need to find some drivers for my RAID 0 setup.

I remember fiddling around with RAID things when I originally set up the pc, but that was like a 2 years ago :(
From my Motherboard manual (Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5) I have deduced that my raided hdds are plugged into SATA2 ports which are in turn connected to an ICH10R controller..

Do I need to get some drivers off the internet or will Win7 just detect the RAID controller and install fine? The Gigabyte website isn't being very helpful today.

I believe you'll need Intel's 'Rapid Storage Technology' driver in order to install to devices configured in RAID. You can grab the latest driver for 'F6 install' from their site (f6flpy-x64.zip) and extract to a floppy, CD or USB flash drive to use when prompted during the pre-install process.
