Do i need to install chipset drivers for Vista?

I can't search if this topic has been covered but I want to know if I should have my mobo chipset drivers installed (MSI K8N Neo2) for vista. I havn't got anything installed as i prosume vista has installed all the drivers needed because its picked up my Lan connection and allows me to browes [sp] :confused:

If there are supported drivers for your Motherboard I think its worth installing them, Vista has a larger driver database so will probably support it out the box, but its always best to install official drivers

Only thing my mate had to install was a driver for the onboard sound.

I'd go with this. If there are chipset drivers specific to Vista on the manufacturers site, then install them. Chances are there won't be yet - although Intel have released some (which doesn't help you!).

If not, don't worry. Vista's out of the box drivers are good enough most of the time.
