do i need to overclock to play crysis

hi,
i just got crysis maximum edition and it says on the back as a system requirement: at least 2.8ghz on xp or higher,
im going to be starting a new build soon but dont know if i have to wait till i build it?

Should be fine on crysis.
You're not going to be running on full settings with AA in 1920x1200, but you'll certainly be able to play it.
Before I upgraded my graphics card I had a single 4670 that just about coped with crysis at 1680x1050 in a window, crossfire should give you a nice boost

ill try it in a minute, i have an issue with mine atm where it freezes if anything multitasking happens
