Do I need to remove overclock before new Mobo?

It might be a strange question but I was wondering if I need to remove the overclock on my processor before putting it in a new motherboard?

I thought all the overclock info was kept on the cmos but I've never recycled a processor before and thought it was worth checking

No, as you say it's stored in the motherboard CMOS chip so won't be transferred across.
