Do i need to upgrade or not ??

Hi i want to know if i should upgrade or Not. I only play games on my rig and try to play at 1440p at 144hz.

Not really - that's still a great spec at 1440p.

Clock the CPU, if not already - and if you feel you're suffering some slow down at 144HZ you could consider a GTX 1080...

I'm interested to know why you're asking. Are you noticing issues with games?

Your graphics card is still pretty high-end, and don't forget, if you want to upgrade that cpu, you're talking either kabylake or ryzen, which means a new motherboard AND ddr4 ram. Bottom line; unless you're noticing any issues at the moment, then it's really not worth the cost.
