Looking at getting a cheap refurbed Nano, never had an Ipod before, but have used Itunes, and hate it with a passion! Are there any other ways of uploading tunes to an Ipod, ie drag and drop in Windows Explorer like any other normal MP3 player? Cheers.

If you don't want to pay for Anapod you can also get a plugin for WinAMP that will let you upload files.

Ah, Just checked the site and apparently its already built in to the latest versions of winamp. If your interested, here is the link:

http://www.winamp.com/

I only use Winamp with the ml_ipod plugin, although iPod support is built in already - I just prefer the ml plugin.

I've found Winamp the best and has most of the ability of iTunes, there are several other options for windows though.

Anapod Explorer is what i chose over iTunes personally, on Windows. Haven't done it on the Mac since though.
