Need some advice
Currently have 245 35 R20 tyres on 8J rim with offset ET40 on my Arteon. I have a set of 18 inch alloys that are 7.5J width offset ET51 from my previous Octavia. If i fit a set of 225 50 R18 tyres to the smaller alloys it gives almost identical size to the 20 inch alloys currently on it - my question is with the narrower 7.5J rim will i need to fit spacers or will there be no issues just swapping them over? (plan to fit a set of winter tyres onto the smaller alloys and not screw up current speedo/gearing) The PCD looks the same on both cars 5x112.
