Ive got Dirt2 on Steam (Haven't played for a while) was wondering would i get a better experience using a wheel rather than keyboard?

Or am I asking a silly question?:D

I use a wireless 360 controller, nothing wrong with it, it still works but its better than a keyboard in this case. But the steering wheel will just dominate the other two solutions.

Been thinking about picking up a wheel compatible with both PC & PS3. I've been using a PS3 contoller with F1 2010 on the pc. Worked fine and much better than trying keyboard. Looking to get more out of racing games in particular gran turismo 5. Would say that if your likely to use it more than a few times then it'll be worth the investment. Having said that wheels greatly improve driving simulation but dirt 2 is very arcady and I didn't enjoy it very much on the 360.

Dirt 2 is incredible with a wheel, soooo much fun. i only sold my G25 cos i prefer FPS and wasnt getting any time to play racing games.

I've personally never got on with wheels. They try to simulate real life but are often far to sensitive and cannot convey the feeling of driving a real car without the G-Forces involved in cornering to let you know just how near the limit of grip you are. I personally use a joypad for driving games as I find it much easier to control and much more fun than any other controller I've tried on this type of game. Still, if you think you'll enjoy using a wheel then try one. You may get on with it better than me!

Used keyboard - after PAD - NOW G25, completely different experience, so much better steering and incredible fun, comparing to keyboard/pad... with will you can do so much more.

I finished GRID and half Dirt2 on G25- perfect,..but it was in box for about 6 months as I couldn't be bothered playing Racing games, now installed DIRT2 and playing online and single when I have time, and it is real fun!
