Do I really need to spend loads on a projector screen?

I see some screens for like £800 which is well over my budget!, then I see other screens the same spec for like £120.

I know they say you only get what you pay for, but this is a blank white surfice right?

My projector isnt to hot on blacks, so I am thinking a 92-105" grey screen 16.9 , tab tensioned would be awesome! but I know that feature adds lots more money!

I have about £300 max

Well looking on that famous AM>>>> site I can see 100" grey electric screens 16.9 for around £100!.

Am not a huge fan of high brightness as I find it hurts my eyes, so grey might be the best way to go for me

What about brush strokes etc. is this a hard job> I have seen the thread on avforums but not to sure how skilled you need to be to do it all

Results as good as proper screens ?
