Guys

I have currently :

i7 DO @ 4ghz
GTX 670 (4gb )
6GB ram

Ive had this system a fair few years now and have the upgrade itch but am i going to see a massive difference if I upgrade the processor?

I was thinking of keeping the processor, motherboard and ram and maybe upgrading the GPU and sticking an SSD in and maybe a new bigger monitor.

Would my processor bottleneck the latest GPUs?

Any thoughts on whether upgrading everything is a good or bad idea?

I am a casual gamer mainly games such as battlefield project cars...

Any advice would be great.

Budget would be around £1000.00

Probably not factual but IMO I wouldn't worry too much yet about upgrading your CPU.

Maybe stick a bit more RAM in as 8GB is starting to become the "sweet spot" and it's better to have a bit more than a bit less.

GPU upgrade I'll definitely agree with, minimum of a GTX970?
SSD is a must if I'm honest, stick the OS on it and your "important" games that you play a lot.
Monitor upgrade is hand in hand with GPU, if you upgrade your GPU then yes you can look into upgrading monitor but then there's always the chance you'll buy a "better" monitor with higher res than your chosen gfx card can push and then you look at upgrading gfx more, vicious cycle.
