Do I wrap my car?

Matte black, in my eyes, should be reserved for old rat lookers, butch manly trucks and so on, and hugely expensive sportscars where money and good taste don't actually matter, but looking different does.

It's also getting a bit old.

Princey your car is nice and red is a good colour for that sort of car, matte black isn't in my eyes. Keep it as it is, especially at £1300.

You can get it done for around £600ish, dont spend £1300.

Someone i know does it cheap.

See the difference is, £600 quid, after a few washes it'll start to peel off, even sat in the sun, it'll bubble.

£1300 you won't have that problem. Because you know you've paid good money for a proper job.

most of the cost with Vinyl Wrapping is paying for somebodys time.

The wrap is fairly cheap considering what % of the final bill is labour.

And if you're on about the perceived finish of your "paintwork" you'd not want to cut corners.

£1300?? I'll do it for £130.

Made an Espace matt black with £10 of B&Q masonry paint

that is truly awsome

Why thank you. We paid a pound for it and have done >10k miles and >10 countries in the last couple of years. The MDF spoiler is getting a little swollen now though and the red stripes om the windows fell foul to the torrential rain before Christmas. She'll be back in top form for the summer though :D

The house opposite mine had a VW van in matt black. I had to use all my willpower to resist the urge to get a piece of chalk and draw on it.
