Well i have just been paid, got everyones prezzie so its time to spend something on myself... Sooo Do i... Buy the Lian Li Xbox360 Chassis? I know its expensive for what it is but its pretty exclusive and makes the 360 look a million times more stylish...

Oh and it replaces the horrible ones at the rear with one big 120mm one so loads quieter...

Yes you should, then if its horrid you can let everyone on here know, and it will stop me from buying one in January.

Don't buy it!

Read some reviews, the last one I read said it wasn't that much quieter because the single 120mm fan has to cool a much larger space so runs at a rather high speed.

Nahhh, just get games instead. It's just a case, it might make the Xbox360 slightly quieter, but the money can be better spent on games IMO

What happens if it dies? No warrenty since you've opened it up.

I'd spend the money on something else.

Smart people would peel the sticker off with the aid of a hairdryer and then keep it safe along with the original case.

Nah i really like the look of it.. Remember its been styled a lot differently to the original one that was displayed at CES.

Nah it was second hand and har the RROD so i did the xclamp mod...

I have most new games that i want... Will have a think i suppose...

Or not, as I've yet to find any that are actually quieter, the whole design tis a bit crummy.

It's the DVD drive that makes the most noise, so replacing the rear fans is pointless.

Having just seen this, and having a caseless 360...i am very tempted.

Only thing that is stopping me buying this right now is that i am worried that my 360's motherboard wont clear the base of the case since i replaced the x-clamps as well, with rather large individual screws.

I do want one however

I think it will work fine matey.. You install standoffs like you do a motherboard that look pretty tall...

Wether its quieter or not is neither here or there... I also install to my modded 120gb drive so takes a lot of pressure off the drive spinning...

Ahhhh Screw it... Ordering it...

LOL. I would hardly call the 360 "Good looking" Next to the PS3 it looks plastic and cheap...

I'm with ScarySquirrel here. I don't like the look of the Lian-Li case much at all.

Yep you are right it is the betterlooking out of the original and this one...

I have just done it for something different. And will not look out of place with the rest of my AV Stuff (PS3, V+ Box, Media PC and DVD Player)

Each to thier own really...
