So most keyboards even Logitech keyboards have no numpad or scrlk which is a shame as I love the G512/513 but can't get over that a keyboard in the high price range has no simple led indicators. Is it just me or is this bizzare?

Does it need a Numpad LED light to let the user know if it's on or off other than pressing the thing and finding out like that. I know apps exist to let you know but it's so weird to see basic things be omitted from a keyboard.

Laptops seem especially bad, most modern ones don’t even have a light to tell you if num lock or caps lock is on.
I had that on a HP laptop thankfully had a small light on the laptop key for capslock. Clever way but does anyone find themselves needing them that bad for a keyboard and being able to go without?

Another left hander here, the number pad is superb for gaming, I'd never ever consider a board without one. It's immensely useful as a cluster of keys just above the arrow keys that many lefties use instead of WASD. I also like having all the old school keys, if rarely used it's nice to have them.
Useful for macros as well
