Just as the title reads really.

just wondreed as when i mensioned the party the other week no1 seemed to know what i was on about.

watching it on e4 now thought i'd ask

I do loved the first series but this second season is off to bit of a shaky start for me. Making Tony a retard hasn't really worked. It was a better program when he was an evil manipulator

We all need to give things a chance. To be fair, the first few episodes of Skins (series1) weren't up to much - and I thought the series only got going once the characters had developed.

Same with the new series of Lost/BSG/Shameless etc. The critics destroy the first few episodes - then when they realise a large slice of the UK public is actually watching them and enjoying them more than the usual rubbish on, they usually change their tune.

This new series is good enough so far for me.

And what do think most people would prefer : A New series of Skins to watch ( even if rubbish ) - or no new series (with you wanting more)

If enough people moan about it, there will not be another (and you will be left to watch relocation, relocation etc etc all night);)

i'm liking this series seems bit more series than the last one, but im thinking its great

I'm watching it, but finding it a bit strange..

Is it mean't to be what teenagers get up to IRL ? Because they don't around these parts :p

I watched the whole of the last series... And I'm watching the whole of this series :p

I'm not too sure how many people 25+ would be interested in watching it though as it teenage orientated...

Watched episode 1 (series 2) this morning and I liked it a lot now if this god damn 4oD would get its act together I would be able to watch episode 2.

God damn channel 4!!

I find the concept of Skins so unbearable that I can't bring myself to watch it.

I live in Bristol and there is a huge drug culture if you go lookin for it (like most other cities I suppose). I just dislike the way Channel 4 has tried desperately for a new edgy 'controversial' skew that it needed to sell its programme.

"What will appeal to teenagers... hmmm?"
"Something their parents wont like thats for sure"
"I know, a teenage drug culture"
"Champagne, anyone?"

Plus that drug fuelled rave at the end of the last season was so totally overkill it was almost a parody of the culture it was trying to imitate.
