Hi all,

Getting some new tires and also got these (see below). Was going to look into painting / getting them painted to match the grey alloys providing they don't need changing everytime you change tyres, unlike rubber valve stems

Anybody know / got any views on it?

Thanks!

Not too sure but I would suggest they might want to change due to a possibility of perishing on the rubber part but how often the change I'm not sure

The rubber part should be fine (provided the quality is OK), some tyre pressure sensors have metal valve stems, mine after 5 years have just needed the rubber seal replacing.

With the above all you want changing each time is the valve core.

Do you have the richbrook ones above?

Regardless, is the valve core standard fitting in all valves? As in, the tyre shop will likely have these as they're standard fit?

Well I've received the Richbrook valves and they say on the packaging 'lifetime guarantee'... So I probably will get them colour-coded and get replacement rubber seals from Richbrook should they ever fail
