My girlfriends has just switched from O2 to Virgin Mobile PAYG and she cant get a very good singal indoors with the virgin sim card whereas the O2 sim had full reception.

What I was wondeirng is if the dodgy looking signal boosters that fit behind the battery and are sold on ebay for 99p a pop actually did anything ? Or is it just another ebay scam ?

We would love to keep the virgin sims for the 3p txt messages between each other but fear that we will have to switch back to o2 due to the poor signal issues

Thanks peeps

You've got to ask yourself, if they did work and they cost so little do you not think that manufacturers would incorporate them into their designs?

Nope. They don't work.

Well If I were a manufacturer and I could get away with not putting something in when it will work with whats already in it, then no I would not include it as millions of little costs = one big saving if I dont fit them

But I guess in this case that they may not actually work hence asking the question

Thanks peeps
