Do mods work with Steam Games?

Just wondering if you can run mods with steam games? Or dont they allow it?.... I know you need to transfer files to the programs folder and unsure if this is possible

Depends on the game. Some games like Euro Truck Sim 2 store the mods in the User Profile\Documents folder so they work fine.

steam workshop also, although not for every game it makes it easier than ever to mod!

I like the way steam lets you mod games

I've applied mods to a few games on Steam and it always seems to work just fine.

yes, or skyrim would be its usual vanilla rubbish.
its origin that has modding issues
