Ive just bought a new flat screen LED tv (cost £599 ever where but i managed to get it for £450) Its got some nice features etc and its a Samsung.. but its a glass screen.. I swear to god to watch anything that gets even a little dark (zombie land, batman begins, 24 etc) i have to shut the curtins and pin a blanket up over the curtains to cut out the light + turn off any lamps or lights otherwise all i see is my reflection in the screen. Ive messed around with the settings but i just end up messing up the contrast and i still see reflections in the screen.

IM tempted to send it back as i only received it a few days back. Is it worth sending back and getting another tv? Do all 100hz led etc use glass nowadays? It has on the website that is has a clear screen which minimises reflections.. Utter bull lol. Anyone know?

So you didn't even bother popping down to john lewis etc to see what it looks like?!

Also... Not too long ago, all TV's had glass screens!

A quick trip to a shop will show you that most new TV's don't have this problem. I suggest you return it.

Nope, currys, comets, pc world, sainsburies, morrisons, tesco, asda, little woods etc.. none of them had this samsung tv :( and the ones that did..didnt have this problem >< .. i guess ill return it. any ideas how long you get to return it by the distance.. selling law? and do you get your full money back etc? x

P.s also lol this tv has worse relfections than my old 40 inch CRT type screen >< its awful.
