Just installed CS:Source, haven't play in years, I see not many coming up on servers so assume most have moved over to CS:Go, is it a lot better?

Depends on your preferences.

I disliked Source so much I stopped playing CS altogether, but have put nearly 700 hours into CS:GO in the last two years. :D

Put 2000+ hours into source, got pretty good.
Put around 150 hours I to cs:go over the past 3 years mainly due to not having a PC.

As it stands I prefer source but I'll be getting into GO once a PC arrives.
On a bad day Source is only 1500 concurrent. Compared to CS:GO with 500k+. So in short I prefer source but will be ditching it to learn GO.

I started playing just as CS:Source came out (graduated from SOF2), and although I've only briefly tried out CS:GO I can't say I've taken to it. Almost completely stopped playing either game now, especially since one of the UKCS servers has suddenly become almost totally empty (baffled as to why).

Was a big cs 1.6 player, hundreds of hours then came source and ruined counterstrike with spray and prey mechanics to remove the skill from the game, no hit reg and appauling hit boxes to name just a few problems, all in the name of better graphics and i gave up cs for years.

Tried cs go recently and its like source but "fixed" altho much more noob friendly than 1.6 still

i play source every day..mainly deathmatch on same few servers and still love it 1500+ hrs in, Ive tried go love the graphics but cant get used/understand the whole crate/skins etc thing....im more of a just wanna get a gun and go around shooting type person

need someone to teach me
