Do new computers have PCI?

I think im going to get a Asus Xonar Essense ST (pci version, STX is pci-e) when i have some money

ST apparently is better as it have better clock circuit than STX so it would sound better. Also, an add on module for surround sound can be used

Do new machines have PCI support on the motherboard? My 939 machine does has but im thinking about when i upgrade in future.

Most of them do, but some of the newer ones don't. I'd check the specs carefully when you purchase a new motherboard.

Also check whether the PCI slots would be blocked by any PCIe cards you might also want to use.
