Do not use cheap chargers!

Thankfully it was only a Sony Experia SP not my S4 Got a non branded car charger and it has fried my phone!! Dead and no sign of life

Plugged it in and instantly the phone charger smoked and cut out then the phone switched off instantly too.

Ahhh well, lesion learned don't buy cheap Chinese unbranded chargers!

Sounds like 12v went through rather than 5v.. bit of a pain. Lucky escape for the S4 though by the sounds of things.
