do printers come with carts?

Seems like a stupid question but its been ages since I bought a printer, do they usually come with ink cartridges? Or is it specific to manufacturer?

i've brought epson and hp in the past and both came with ink cartridges so i'd have to say yes, they should come with some.

Yes, they should do but a lot of printer manufacturers have a habit of only half filling them.

I think its a standard thing that they come with ink cartridges, last few printers i've had all came with ink, don't expect them to come with any sort of connector cable though

Every printer i have bought has come with cartridges, saying that I don't think they are high capacity.
