Do Sky block dial-up connections?

Hi guys,

As above; I've been with Sky for about 3 months and I've just gone to use my dial-up account (that I need to do periodically or my email gets suspended...) and I just get a 'no tone' error

It worked fine the last time I used it under BT.

Any ideas?

It was me... I replaced part of the master socket the other day and dislodged a wire

Interestingly, my hp all-in-one with fax could still tell that the phone was off the hook (when being using for voice) and that was what got me thinking that it was hardware rather than wiring.

Now time to enjoy my Christmas holiday
