A volume control dongle or is there volume control on the speakers themselves?

What I mean is, you don't have to adjust the volume via software do you?

There is a volume control on the top of the subwoofer, bass on the back.

I can take a picture and post it up later when I get home if you'd like to see what it looks like.

Do the Aego's have a port for headphones? From the piccys on this web site it looks like there is one on the sub

The socket on the front of the Aegos is a line-in for mp3 players etc.

No headphone socket on 'em, I'm afraid

I love mine. The only bother is that they don't have a headphone jack so I have to reacharound and swap cables when I need to use my headphones.

They sound fantastic though. I'd certainly buy them again.

I've just ordered these and for those of you having problems with no headphone socket I've also bought a Plantronics .Audio PC Speaker/Headset Switch

Which will allow you some desktop control over headphones/speakers while they are both plugged in

Nope unfortunately OCUK don't stock it but do a quick google and you should find it delivered for under a tenner.

just installed these speakers coupled with a Xfi extreme music sound card and WOW!!

What a difference to my old 5.1 creative speakers and onboard sound...I am hearing things I've never heard before!!

Cannot recommend them enuff

Welshy/ferret, I'm a little confused with these.

Is a cable supplied to plug them into your PC, is it a 3.5 to 3.5 phono cable and does this plug into the back of the amp or the front? Or are there different cables for each speaker?
