Yeah, they look nice and sharp to me - you'll really notice how the lens performs when you're shooting things at the long end of the zoom and you're getting sharpness of the subject contrasting with the nice bokeh.

Mark they are all not bad shots mate but all taken at F4 which isnt bad but if you crank the lens wide open and get the focus spot on these shots would be much better still. :)

Experiment with the aperture and DOF and you will acheave some very nice shots. Play about a little, don't be put off if you come home with some bin fodder (we all do mate) some just don't admit it.. :D

Save and proccess the best then pop them on here.. ;)

stop it down to f7.1 if you want sharpness...

Doubt it'll make that much difference - there's only a slight improvement from F4 on that lens. They look pretty good given that the light isn't brilliant at the moment.

what a lovely lens
am seriously thinking of ditching the 150-180 quid for a 70-300 lens like a sigma or canon and going 70-200 L glass
tempting..but wrong!

nice lens though
the pics look a bit dark but that could just be ambient lighting

yea mate it was a very dull day. After useing my 70-200l for about 20 mins i would not sale it fast focusing and just over all a great lens
