Do the movie producers not know when to stop?

American pie 1&2 were excellent films. Hilarious.
3 was ok, it tied up the loose ends nicely whilst being entertaining.

Then they produced 4 "band camp" which was dire, complete rubbish.

who cares when the character names include " cute lingerie girl, hot lingerie girl and porno chick!"

sounds like a winning combo to me lol.
 
Band Camp was obviously successful enough for them to feel a 5th would make money.

The same goes for the Scary Movie 'films'. As long as they're successful, they'll carry on making them.
 
I think the thread title should be don't we learn.

Somebody must be watching all the sequesls for them to even make a new one.
 
I actually quite enjoyed band camp its good as long as you watch it not expecting anything amazingly great
 
No matter how bad American teen comedies get, i still can't get enough of them. Band camp was pretty poor compared to its predecessors, but i still enjoyed it.

The more gross and corny the better imo.
 
This is no exaggeration, I thought the first and second were pretty OK, but band camp was THE worst film I've ever watched, and I've watched a hell of a lot of films. It was complete and utter ****.
 
I totally agree with the OP. Let the series go already. The fifth one in the link looks to be a straight to video too with the (V) tag.
 
were there boobies in the 4th one? seems like there's going to be boobies in this one. don't see a problem
 
Was band camp really considered the 4th? It was called American Pie: Band Camp rather than American Pie 4: Band Camp, so I thought of it more as a spin-off. I think it's likely that the title shown in the link is a working title and the final product won't have be numbered as the 5th film.

I thought it was Called America Pie Presents Band Camp? :confused:

Meaning the Produces just thought they would have a side project and get publicity through the Usage of the America Pie Name and band camp senareo
 
Good God! Stop! I loved the first three. Never watched Band Camp (nor will I) and won't watch this one. I see Eugene Leavy refuses to give it up too!
