Is what we've got now, either side, working for people?

Why have they allowed our resources to be sold to the highest bidder without looking after the population first? Why are we not protected from the cost of living increases?

To my mind they COULD but they're not.

Do we want a privately-educated exclusive club running the country? Is it working for us? Where is all our money going? Who's auditing things to make sure we get value for money? Are indiviual politicians held accountable? Are their finances, while in office, monitored? Do we want external influences having a say in our economy?

Of course we need government but is it this one? How far do we let go before people have had enough? What happens then?

I mean the whole ******* thing is broken, right?

Nope, not fit for purpose, not sure what the solution is but I can tell you it isn't what we have.
I think we start with accountability and transparency.

There's this ceremonial thing they do where the house of commons closes the door to the house of Lords to say 'hey, this is consensual guys'. Maybe, let's close that door for a bit, get some people who acutally care about the country in to start actually sorting things out.

It's been a stealth infiltration by big business and corportations over many years, that's who our government actually serves.

The last I checked, the government doesn't have their own money, they have OUR money, a big chunk of our money after all the various taxes so that should serve us right?

If that's not the equation, eg: the government serves its people with the money they pay it, then I'm going to expect different things. If the equation is the government serves other interests then I don't want to fund that thanks.
