Do true wireless IEMs stay ‘on’ when not in the charging case?

Possibly a daft question, but do they? I bought myself some RHA TrueConnect 2s recently - having resisted the swap to wireless for ages. Now I’m going to start commuting to work a few days a week I’m thinking the charging case is a little bulky to have in my jacket pocket and I’d rather put the buds in a bag thing I had for previous earbuds. Question is, will they just think they’re ‘on’ when out of the case? Is that the idea?

My commute is only 30mins or so on the tube so no real need to charge them in between but clearly if they’re ‘on’ all day at work then they will die on me rather quickly.

Saw you put the model in the OP. The button is the whole of main body outer. Its used to increase volume, setup pairing etc if required. Manual doesnt state that that holding the button for x seconds turns them off like my Soundpeats do.
