My Lian Li PC-C50BHTPC case arrived on Friday and to my (slight) disappointment the front USB 3 ports do not connect to an internal USB 3 header, but instead have long cables which route out the back of the case and into rear USB 3 ports.

I remembered you often used to get rear USB 2 port brackets which connected to the motherboard USB 2 headers thrown in with motherboards. Is there a similar bracket available for USB 3? If I could get one of them then I could tuck the bracket away inside the case somewhere and keep the cabling all internal.

Looking at purchasing the Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 as the motherboard which has a single USB 3 header. This is for a new HTPC build. Ignore my sig - that's only one of 4/5 PC's I got.

Thanks gropingmantis - that's even better than what I was looking for!

that motherboard does not have an internal USB3.0 header, its only got two USB3.0 ports on the back.

It has four USB2.0 internal headers.

Just order them, you can get anything shipped from anywhere in this modern day, Just like the side panel for my case, its coming from another country.

Total price inc. delivery is $35. Does that mean I would have to pay all the import taxes too on top?

Not if marked as a gift on the parcel, or make up a fake invoice for say $10;) so you pay a considerably less amount.

Email them.
