Do USB hubs work on the PS3 ?

Hi,

I have Time Crisis 4 on the PS3, which takes a USB for the sensors and another USB for the guncon. I have two boys, both want to play at the same time, given its a great co-op game. So i was just going to buy an additional guncon off the fleabay. Anyway, most PS3's only have two USB slots, and for two player this game needs three usb slots. Do USB hubs work or are you limited to playing this game on an original Phat, which came with 4 USB's ?

Might need a powered hub, depends on the device. For example I can charge my iphone off the PS3, but it wont via the hub I use. I doubt the guncon needs it, but might be worth double checking...

thanks, i actually found an old small 4 port USB hub at home, which i tried and it works a charm.. So it looks like i'm good to go, on ordering my 2nd Guncon.

I was going to say, you get the little USB hub with Rockband and the like, so all the instruments plug in.
