I have a PS2, Xbox360 and numerous Dreamcasts, and the only one getting use atm is the Ps2, for DVD's only.

But am tempted to get a Wii as its something that looks more fun and for a few people to play, at the minute the Wii Sports looks ideal for us too.

So OcUK, do i or dont i get a Wii?

I want a wii but i dont wanna spend that much because theres 3 games i wanna play then ill never use it again lol

wiisports is great, but what happens when you get bored of it? are you interested in any other games?

I like the look of Pro Evo etc, but Wii Sports will probably do me for a while!

get a wii

:p

Can see what you mean, but its one of the cheapest consoles now (apart from the Xbox360 now i guess?) and it looks the most fun.

Yeah I have a 360 right now, always on it

plus with wii i have nowhere to stand in room, and to have mates around itll be madness :O

but if wii gets more quality games ill end up buying it

i have had one for over 6 months now, dont play it as often as i should but i do play it, it is fun when you have a few people over and have a few drinks :p

other than wii sports the only other game i want is Mario Kart when it is released :D

there are some fantastic games on thew wii, but they arent the all your mates-round 4 player games you'd expect form the wii. mario galaxies, metroid prime 3, resident evil 4 are all top class games. but none of them are like wiisports, obviously.

wiifit should be out soon, but first reports arent too good apparently. and dont forget mario kart.

just get one you wont regret it even if you dont use it so much

a lot of people did regret it though.

Yes, and get: Mario Galaxy, Metriod Prime 3, Zelda: TP, Rezi Evil 4. And Smash Bros Brawl + Mario Kart when they come out. If you don't like those kind of games I wouldn't bother though.

now's a good time to get one, more and more games are coming out now

i've been eyeing up 'no more heroes' for a while now

my dad has one back home, I've probably had 15 hours total play time on it when I visit him , I'm bored of it, my suggestion, don't unless you plan to have it family orientated

Yeah, I'd say get one... they're great little consoles with some great games on it. Plus, there's a ton of Gamecube games which are great fun to play. Donkey Konga with 2 or more sets of bongos is brilliant fun when you've got some mates round :D

Has to be said mine doesn't get used that much - there is a shortage of great games, and a lot of awful shovelware or attempts to aim for the 'casual' market.

However, there's enough good stuff to make it worth a purchase I think - Mario Galaxy was fantastic, and Pro Evo looks like the first example of a third party developer actually trying to do something imaginative with the system and pulling it off.

Wii Fit looks like it will be fun too!

sold mine after a while as there were very few games that interested me. Wii Sports was a lot of fun but didn't have nearly enough depth for me (or friends) to keep playing.
