Have Nvidia said anything, does the tech require a massive increase or will it be similar to the 900 range?

I like nvidia but i dont trust what they say till i see real world reviews

The top end cards will be knocking on 250-300 watts just the same as always, of course the mid range GP104 class cards might use slightly less than the Maxwell equivalents.

You can expect the first set of high end cards to be maybe 225-250W, only once the true full fat Pascal comes out will it go 250-300W, unless they've got problems with the node at first. That tends to be how they stretch a generation out these days might even be mid range cards that come out 6 months before everything else.
