The official Xinhua news agency says it is the first time that a foreign buyer has purchased both a Chinese satellite and its launching service.

Welcome to capitalism mate! If there's money to be made, who cares if a few fags get it? :D

its obviously to help phish account details from brittish people... nigerian scam spy satellite is F.A.B!!!!!

It's completely alien to our culture
That's a stupid thing to say when talking about homosexuality. Homosexuality will occur in any culture, regardless of outside influences. So it cannot be alien to a culture.

I think he might have a point (due to ignorance? Or awareness?). I dont know of any gay stuff until i got here. Now imagine those who have been there without having the chance to travel beyond the borders.

I feel like, more focus should be on domestic maters instead of trying out this current avenue.

Yes, seems very silly for that country to be going down the space avenue at the moment.

As much as i dislike their aggressive form of capitalism, they are getting a very strong foothold in africa - they have link with places like Sudan e.tc. they supply their forces with chinese ak-47 version etc and chinese oriented businesses are booming in that part of africa.

I dont know about that but it could well be true. I saw it on a programme on some satellite channel "Inside africa" iirc. The thing is imo, I dont think the chinese really like them but since it is business and they need the energy to feed their aggressively growing economy they would play nice till they drain the oil.

I saw something about the Chinese overseeing the mining of minerals in Africa , it was a real throw back to the bad old days of child exploitation.
It does sadden me that the land known as the Cradle of Mankind is in such a state.

That just means it was kept in the closet. Whether people talk about it or not, homosexuality exists in any culture.

Sure get this....

It is down to Nigeria's capital and Edinburgh to who hosts the Commonwealth games (the one after next I think). If Nigeria get it I just dunno

Nickie Campbell interviewed the head of the deciding committee on 5 live the other morning and he couldnt answer the sharia laws and gay thing at all; just kept saying we are not a political organisation.
