Do you buy extensions?

i've never seen extensions for the power, reset and the front led's but most motherboards have them all together as the first four top and bottom on the front panel connector so you could just get the usb extension and connect it so the blocked pin is facing out and connect the ones you need to that, if you know what i mean.

what motherboard do you have coughs ?

I think I know what you mean yes. I also want to hide those cables behind the mobo, hence why I probably need an extension to do it. Will investigate further come September when my new stuff arrives :)
 
Same, I need them too sometimes I wonder how some people achieve very clean cable management!

You could cut and splice the cables to make them longer.

As long as you got some wire the same size and some heatshrink and solder iron (and solder of course), you should be ok
