I did a couple of edits in the past but soon gave up after a couple of pages were essentially repeatedly vandalised with spurious 'facts'.

I couldn't believe the tenacity of some of the guys on there.

I sometimes do 'minor alterations' and wrote a bit about where I live, but never really done any serious writing. I think what put me off a bit was seeing some wikipedia guys discussing whether it was worth having a page on a certain game (which ended up getting deleted)... I don't see why a page about a certain game should be deleted just because some guys think it wasn't important enough. If something's factual they should have left it alone imo, and I don't really want to contribute to a small topic that might just get deleted because it isn't important enough, and most of the 'big' topics are already ok.

Agreed. I don't like Wikipedia because loads of articles are either incomplete or wrong it really is stupid.

I thought I'd revive an old thread; I wonder if anyone prints Wikipedia articles?

I just printed 200 pages (on Graph theory) and had them bound. Got some very weird looks at the shop, but it seems to be popular. You can even do it from Wikipedia directly - not exactly expensive either.

I added the bit about desert crocodiles in the Sahara desert. Page gets edited a lot but thats stayed in there so far
