anyone care to admit to driving while using their mobile phone, :(
getting people to admit it might be hard, it against the law these days.
I don't and refuse to, if I don`t have my "hands Free" then I don`t answer, simple really.

HOw about yourself?

I do it. No worse than someone eating food or drinking a bottle of water etc.. Still gotta take one hand off driving for all those tasks. :)

i read texts while driving and sometimes text but i can do that without looking, no excuse though :(

I dont talk while driving

Is it just me that thinks it is more dangerous, granted you can drive without 1 hand but Im pretty sure you cant drive without your eyes?

I dont and I wont drive and use the mobile , but I have driven behind people who DO and who are obviously more intent on the phone calll than on their driving; :(

Eh and he also said there's no excuse as well.

I do, but then I have a proper car kit, with the sound coming out of the stereo speakers, so im perfectly legal to do so.

Fifth Gear did a feature on this last week.

I think it added about(not 100% sure) 10m to your stopping distance if you were using your mobile phone.

I saw someone driving whilst using a mobile yesterday and they didn't seem to be very aware of other cars around them.

I've seen ppl do the most stupid things while using mobiles and driving. Had one recently pull out of a junction straight in front of me, he didn't even look because he was so involved in his phone conversation

I do it all the time, pretty much every time I drive. I do have a full car kit install though ;)

People who say driving whilst using a hand held phone doesn't distract them are dangerous fools.

I love my bluetooth headset. It tickles my ear as well :)

press the button, call answered - excellent :)

Same here :)

Can't quite see why they had to bring a specific law against it , people could already be done for due care etc

Same here, got one installed into the missus's mini too.

With a son then i wouldn't want either of us to risk an accident because of a phone call.
