Do you enjoy going to sleep?

I love sleeping but I also love being awake.
Sometimes i got bored at about 11 and go to bed happily, takes a little longer. Other times i'm wide awake and will be up until stupid oclock in the morning.

I hate trying to get to sleep. The flipside.. I love going to sleep when proper knackered/tired after a hard days work :D

When I was younger I used to have loads of trouble getting to sleep and used to stay up through most of the night watching TV, reading or gaming. This led to me falling asleep or being proper dozy in school and not doing as well as I should have. In Uni I just slept through any early lectures and got up for Neighbours (lunch time not evening).

Since end of Uni (7 years ago now) my job means I HAVE to get up at 6:30am every week day. I really used to struggle with this as I rarely fell asleep before 2am and often later. Originally I turned to drink to help get me off to sleep, but that just made me even less use in work. After a while though, a mixture of routine, tiredness from work, regular exercise, better diet, an active dog and an even more active girlfriend kicked in and my head just accepted that sleep was best for it.

These days I love going to bed and to sleep. Still don't go to bed till about midnight and make do with around 6 hours weeknights, but this is much better than the 3-5 hours I used to get when in work. I honestly think most sleep issues come from a mixture of lack of routine, bad diet and lack of exercise. I do feel really sorry for people working shifts though because I know I couldn't adjust that regularly.

I like to go to sleep when really tired and I can barely keep my eyes open, and don't really like getting up.

If I had my way it would be a 30 hour day, awake 20 hours, then sleep 10. Damn sun.

I love sleeping, however I only tend to get the minimum amount of sleep I need, just because I feel like I'm wasting time, time which could be spent doing more productive things, or enjoyable things.

Less time sleeping = more free time.

That said, I do love my sleep and my bed. Weird.

I wish that time would go at the same rate whilst you are asleep as it does when awake. Imagine being able to savour it all the more.

I'm sure people who can lucid dream enjoy going to sleep, but for me, I see it as a waste of time.

On the weekend, not at all...Im usually awake till like 2-3am even if im staying in, usually watching films or browsing the web.

If im out then im most likely out all night

During the week i used to stay awake till 1am then be up for 7 but it the most of me when my shift had me getting up at 6:30am. During the week im usually in bed by about 11:30ish.

I find it hard to sleep as I suffer from a condition which annoys the hell out of me, a loud buzzing sound in my ears which I can hear when its dead quiet.

I hate trying to get to sleep and often don't sleep very well through the night. I do however love "waking up" and snoozing in the starfish position, ahh...

I find it very hard to get to sleep, because I never feel tired. I can lie there for hours until I get to sleep (usually around 3-4am), but I then wake up at 7am. If I go for the cheap sleep, I just turn my PSP on, whack the screen brightness up and browse some 4chan. That soon burns my eyes and sends me to sleep. But then I wake up at 11am, feeling groggy, if I'm lucky.

That just sounds miserable!!
