Do you ever get that feeling that you want to play a game but not sure what?

Like i've been playing a lot of Diablo 3 and i've been looking for a game that i can play when i'm not on it. The thing is nothing i see genuinely interests me. I think i fancy an FPS/RTS but then i look at a load and it's like "Nah, cba to play that". It is a strange feeling to be wanting to play a game but not knowing which one.

Am i talking rubbish or do you know the feeling i'm on about?
 
Actually...I know exactly what you mean. There are times I get hooked on GTAIV for 2 weeks or something. Slam it every day and then think I wanna try something else.

Wierdly even Skyrim lately I can only handle for 30mins or so. Its really sad but I think I have to admit I have more fun TWEAKING that game rather than playing it.... :(

But yea...theres nothing really out there ATM for me yet that really makes me wanna run and buy it...
 
I get that, sit and stare at my Steam library maybe even get as far as opening something but then closing it again and eventually end up playing nothing at all and watching a film instead.
 
I get like that sometimes, will spend an afternoon jumping between games but getting bored of them really quickly.
 
I used to get like that occasionally way back, I had one game I kept on one side, a game that really belonged to my young (as she was back then) daughter. It was ’Lemmings’, and as anyone knows that have played it, its either mega annoying or mega addictive. To me it was both, so any time I got bored of games that were available at the time, I would stick ‘Lemmings’ in and play that.
Only took a day or two before I got back out and bought anything, just to get away from it before I became addicted.:eek::mad::confused::p

I get the same way with console gaming. Last weekend I knew I wanted to play something but just sat there staring at my PS3 games aimlessly. I felt like I was in the mood for something epic I could get lost in.
In the end I spent 3 hours on XBL playing ME3 multiplayer. Seems I just don't know what I want sometimes :P
 
Yeah, I get that feeling a lot, want to play something but don't want to play BFBC2 or L4D2 or something else, been wanting to play my old time favourite MMO which is Rose Online, but I been out the loop for so long, it puts me off. :/
 
I always end up sticking Sonic 3 & Knuckles on in KGen with my USB MegaDrive controller and whiling away a few hours. There's nothing that I want to actually play atm!

I'd kill for a Mario 64 or Banjo Kazooie a like platformer on the 360!
 
All the time. I usually end up spending so much time trying to decide what to play that I've wasted the evening and it's time for bed :(
 
Play a game for 10-15 minutes > Stop playing, Browse same websites for 5/10 minutes, nothing new > Decide what game to play 5-10 minutes > Go back to playing what you started on.

Rinse and repeat throughout the day. Only game I have managed to play solidly today is Sword and Sworcery and I just completed it :p
 
Diablo 3 was my worst purchase of a game ever. Can't believe i shelled out over £40 for it :( Played through all the acts once then stopped playing it!
