Do you ever rebuild your machine when your bored?

Ive just realised ive rebuilt my PC three times this year and its only March! I seem to do it when im bored as it gives me something to do.

Does anyone do this??

I was getting some strange BSODs and one night decided to rebuild and enable AHCI at the same time.

Has to be some kind of a justification for it.

I rebuild it every so often but it's not so bad as I just use an image I have the following:

Machine image without drivers.
Machine image with drives.

So if there is updates for drives I restore the image without drivers and just update them and re-image. Restores within 10 minuits.

This^^. Every time I have a major upgrade/rebuild I curse how much of a pain it is and how much I don't really like PCs.

Then I put it all back together and get it working, and realise that PCs are win

not a rebuild as such much I will strip it down to the chassis and give everything a clean and put it all back together attempting to make it tidier than before..no software changes though

Dont rebuild my system that offten, but i do reinstall windows every 3-4 weeks lol. I like trying out new trial versions and such like, get board easy with the same one.

Strange........... Your more likely to cause damage or problems later on if your aways taking ur pc to bits.

Edit: If you mean reinstalling your software, you must be mad, cos I hate having to reinstall

I dread to think how many times I've rebuilt because I'm board, either just board or I find an excuse to replace something.

It must have cost me thousands over the years, I try to resist but too late my fingers hit the checkout button

No, only when it gets dirty inside I give it complete strip and rebuild. Software side, I leave well alone. Hate installing, Windows!

Never, only ever rebuilt if it was required.

I don't see the need to disturb if it's running perfectly
