Do you focus on one game early?

So just wondering if seem to always have 3 or 4 on the go and I always end forgetting about 1 of them and never going back, won't be due to me not liking it I think I just start too many at same time. Any one else do this? Edit: can a mod change early to only please

I'll usually have two per platform (PS4 and PC) on the go at a time and alternate between them so that I'm not playing the same thing all the time.

Depends on the game really, if it's one i've been really looking forward to i'll stick to just that until I finish it.

It's a change I'm making this year in an attempt really to enjoy more games and maybe save money by not buying so many new releases (and tbh there's nothing in the pipeline for me right now)

So at the moment I'm playing Games I missed or haven't touched, so right now it's Evil Within which I have been mostly enjoying and then along with that I'm trying to focus on 1 multiplayer game which is Overwatch as it's good to drop in and have a quick go before or after playing a bit of the single player game I'm currently running!

Depends on the game in question and what else is out / available at the time.

Some games I will focus solely on (Dishonoured 2 for example) but others I will play alongside other games (Destiny, Neverwinter, STO).

I think for me it comes down to the main drive of the game. If it is story/lore heavy, I will stick with it and play it start to finish. If it is more gameplay with the story taking a back seat I will pick away at it without every really 100% completing it (or given MMO's fall into this category, without getting bogged down in the end game grind-a-thon).

Some games inevitably get started and never progressed. These tend to be games that are fundamentally good but I quickly lose interest for various reasons. FF15 is an example of this for me.

My wife (who likes to watch me play though games) makes me play one at a time. If I didn't I'd never finish any of them.

Same as above with my wife watching (if it's watchable, that is) - one single player game at a time. I'll also jump into Battlefield or Destiny if I want some PvP.

I have a number on the go at once - I kind of like jumping between games, often I'll also re-visit a completed game, and add it into the mix.

Presently I'm having a bit of: R6 Siege, BF1, MW Remastered, Last of Us (for the xxth time), Skyrim, Witcher 3, Deus Ex, Dying Light, GTA V, Ride 2.... bound to be more.

Sometimes I might pick up one of them and play it for that day, depends what I fancy really.

I have a number on the go, but only because playing time is all over the place.

Some games don't suit snatching half an hour here or there (Dishonored 2); some aren't suitable if the kids are wandering around (Witcher); some just get boring if there's a lot of doing the same thing/busy work (Arkham Knight) and then I normally have a few mp that various friends have.

I like to have a couple of indies ready to go when I just fancy a change for a night or two, something I can just blast through. A game with a 14 hour campaign might end up taking me 3 months to get through and that gets old pretty quickly :D

Something like Watch Dogs 2 covered all the bases, so that got played straight through.

Something like Just Cause 2, which demanded hours of busy work just to carry on the campaign, will end up getting binned.

Can't play more than one on the same platform. Currently have Assassin's Creed ll on the PC and I did start Tomb Raider on PS4. More than often, I'm on the PC.

One at a time, i like to stay focused and on track. I might have a online shooter on the go when i do get a bit bored but otherwise I stick to the one. I spent all year on Fallout 4 so missed a few new releases in that time. Still, the advantage is some of those games have been significantly reduced in price. So win.

Most single player games I get bored of pretty quickly and never return too, the only exceptions are strategy games.

Started playing the new final fantasy game recently and I usually love these games, but damn this one's boring, 10 years they've been working on this trash.

I want to complete it but it's never going to happen.

Seems I need to focus on just one! Over 20 not played some sealed and some started :/ regarding ff14 I'm chapter 3 and level 26 so far and loving it

One game atm, witcher 3 not usually a fan of rpg but it's not bad. Probably prefer something else though with a shorter story and more engaging :p

I try to do one at a time...however i'm currently fluttering between:

BF1
Project Cars
Planet Coaster
Cities: Skylines
DOOM

Maybe that is why I can seem to stuck into a game and truly enjoy it!

Games are like buses for me nowadays, nothing for a while then multiple all at once!

At the moment I'm playing Rise of The Tomb Raider as well as replaying A Link To The Past on SNES (couldn't resist)

But I also have the newest Doom and MKX I've wanted to get stuck into for quite some time!
