Hey all, just wondering what if any settings you change in the default 3D option profile for Nvidia cards?

I have Triple Buffering - On, Negative LOD Bias - Clamp, and Texture Filtering - High Quality.

Yes, quality increased to High Quality, optimizations disabled and clamp negative lod, then set AA/AF and force off vsync which depends on the game.

HI, good question- I set manually.

(Settings go from top to the bottom)

-A.O.- quality
-A.F.- 16x
-A- Gamma correction- ON
-Antialiasing Mode- App. controlled
(however sometimes set to enhance app. settings and x32CSAA- some games don't run well on this settings, so leaving at app. controlled.
-A. Transperancy- Multisample (sometimes to x8 supersample- once again, not all games run well)
-Thread optimization- Auto
Trilinear opt.- OFF
-Tripple buffering ON
-Texture Filtering Quality- Quality

I didn't think tripple buffering worked in the Nvidia control panel, I kept reading that you had to force it through D3Doverrider, is this true?

it only affects opengl programs via the cp so a third party program is needed for directx
