Hi 8pack do you have to know anything about fluid dynamics for water cooling as I've been asked this question also as far as I've always known as long as the pump is below the reservoir gravity takes over the rest your input would be hugely appreciated crasher

Yes that correct and the preferred Config by far. Sure I know a bit about water cooling I design the entire 8Pack range and assist with Infin8 range which are almost all water cooled.

I'm a HVAC engineer so I know a fair bit about fluid dynamics having designed commercial heating and cooling systems. The scale is different but the principle is basically the same.
Mind you, I know F.A about pc water cooling, so you may wish to run that past Mr pack here.
I'm currently building my own rig and I have some ideas for water cooling which isnt the norm, so I'm going to see whether my knowledge of heating and cooling systems makes a blind bit of difference.
