Do you have your address in your CV?

At the top of my CV I have my full name, telephone number and e-mail address.

I removed my home address as I didn't want the jobs I'm applying to in and around London to reject me because I'm in the Midlands (as I'm happy to relocate)

Do you think is good / bad move?

Or should I put my address for jobs that I'm applying for nearby and my sisters address who lives in London for jobs I'm applying to around there. As realistically if I did secure a job in London I would live with her initially until I passed probationary period (so not really lying as such)

Thoughts?

I don't think I've ever had my address on my CV, just a contact number and email address.

Sounds wise. That or mention 'relocating'/'willing to relocate' if you do use your current city/town.

depends, simply entering an email or mobile number into Facebook can bring up your profile with location.

Think mine is on there but I apply locally for positions, hour commute each way.

I don't put an address down, because in the past idiot recruiters have rejected me because I'm "too far away".

Adapt your CV for the role, I applied for something last week so I added my address as it was only 2 miles away and the recruiter I spoke to said the last guy quit as it was too far away.

LinkedIn is just my CV but in more detail.
