Do you install vendor software?

Hi all,

Having RMA'ed my previous card, I've just received its replacement, a Gigabyte 7970 GE. I've been using my old 6850 in the interim, and so have the catalyst drivers and control centre installed already. I've just chucked the new card in, and the machine has identified it, and is running ok.

Obviously I also have the gigabyte dvd with OCGuru, @BIOS and Easy Boost on it, as well as some old drivers. I'm in two minds as to whether it's worth installing any of this stuff.

So, in the interests of a straw poll, as much as helping me make my mind up. Do you bother installing this stuff? Or do you stick with manufacturer drivers only?

I never bother to install all that crap for any piece of hardware, always just get the bare basics drivers unless I have a real need for a feature I can only access through their software.
