I wonder, do you guys "Save" your OC settings? CPU/GFX CARD, I been told that now after I got my E6600 to 3 GHZ and my GTS oc'ed as well that It's not recommended to save the settings and that I should go back to stock, he said that my PC is good enough and that I don't need it to be OC'ED.

Any ideas on what to do now? Whether to keep the settings as they are not or should I go back to Stock settings? *confused*

Thanks

Who told you to go back to stock settings?

If your temps are fine and the computer passes stability tests, then ignore him! Save your settings and keep your computer overclocked! He's probably just jealous about your computer being so good ;)

He is right about your pc it is good enough at stock,

but you will get better performance by clocking it, its like having somthing for nothing

Most peoples PCs are good enough, we OC to get that little bit better. 3.0GHz for an E6600 is a very mild over clock, I'd just leave it there.

To be honest he's right in a way. Seeing as your kit can demolish anything (almost) then keep a long lifetime and overclock when performance begins to be drained by nastier games etc. It's like taking viagra until your 13 then dieing.
