Do you know how to build a bonfire.

I showed my dad those videos and he said, why don't they just use paper the numpties

paper/cardboard and a few thin peices of wood! do it like a real man and slowly pile it up with bigger bits of wood as you go! nothing more satisfying than starting a small fire and building it into a huge monster

Kids don't bother doing it around here any more, if you build one the council come and take it away. There used to always be 2 fairly close to where I live, the people living close used to do baked potatoes in the embers. Was good times.

I am from Lewes and we have the biggest bonfire night celebrations in the country. The bonfires are at least as tall as a house!

there are massive torchlit parades with burning crosses, they blow up images of policemen and politicians, people dress as the pope and preach to the crowd and then have fireworks and bangers shot at them! Pretty crazy really.

Haha, always amuses me going there as a Catholic.

:D

used to always have them on the estate I grew up on as well. Was kinda run by the estate do-gooders but me and my mates used to help collect wood etc and set it up.

I thought this was part of our young male animal DNA to build a bonfire/gang hut

And obviously to burn down rival bonfire/gang huts.
