Do you let anyone else use your Personal Computer?

My wife uses my MacBook more than me at times and I have no problems with that. She however is the only other person who I will allow to use it without asking first.

Nobody ever asks to use my desktop PC though! They could if they asked but nobody seems to want to do so!
 
gf uses my laptop whenever shes around, let my friends use it for games etc.. got no problem with it. Havent had any junk/viruses downloaded from anyone yet :P
 
I let my flatmates use it at times if needed. So long as I was around though. My laptop I let anyone use back at uni, nothing interesting on it.

Back here at home though, won't let anyone use my stuff unless I'm watching. Flatmates finding pron didn't bother me at all - 2 of my flatmates had there full collections shared over network :p
 
My wife uses this one. She usually has a browse through the OCUK forums when I've left Opera open, inbetween checking her Facebook, Bebo and the Kimi Raikonnen fan forum (She is officially a sado).
 
Best friends use it ocasionally when they're round but they're all tech savvy, won't go messing around with my settings or downloading dodgy files. It's mostly just to try games and the like anyway.

My dad never uses it, he is too scared. :p He doesn't like computers anyway.

A girl once commented that my PC looks like one from a movie, that made me laugh.

nah my parents/brothers have their own pcs, and if my dad wants to play a game he has a similar spec. machine to mine. If they wanted to use my pc to play an already installed game/quickly google something they could but it doesn't happen often.
 
When I'm at home my dad might use it now and again, but he usually uses the 1.2GHz celeron heap downstairs.

Here in Manchester I always lock my PC when I leave my room, one of the girls always likes to come into my room and play with my PC bashing the keyboard. She even comes into my room sometimes and locks the door, so I'm going to have to start locking my door too when I say go in the kitchen or go for a shower.

She even nicked my bacon roll once and stuffed it down her pants :\
 
Don't have any :p, well I could easily get a pic but somehoe she'd find out, and I don't think she is attracted to me :p
 
I live on my own, so no, not generally. If someone is round then they may use any of the pc's in the house if they so wish, though. I dont see any reason for them not to.
 
My computer (and now my laptop) has been password free for 2 years :) I don't even clear my history :p I trust people only use it sometimes to find something quickly, for other stuff they have their own desktop in the lounge.
 
No, No, No. And if i suspected they have I'd goto control panel, system and maintenance, view event logs, windows logs, then application (or security for times of everything) and tell them what time they turned it on, what they did and what time they turned it off. Then shout at them.
 
I dont understand the whole history deletion thing. If you choose to visit a few porn sites so bloody what? Its not as if whoever is borrowing the computer has a right to tell you which sites you should and should not visit.
