I'm weird in the sense i don't like pre-drinking before 'events' at University or clubbing etc.

I'm sat in my room right now browsing/gaming whilst drinking ready to go out at around 10pm or so to a University event. I'm not a huge fan of pre-drinking as i feel as though i need to get in the right frame of mind and can only do that with music and generally relaxing, almost like a ritual?

What do you think about the topic? Do you even pre-drink?

1 can of Strongbow Super gone, 7 remaining...

EDIT: I MEANT PRE-DRINKING IN GROUPS, IE FRIENDS, sorry! :o

Yes, every night out usually consists of a few drinks and messing about on someone's 360. I'd rather just get picked up at 9.30 or whatever, go straight into town and do it from there.

I pre-drink but then pretty much only have a couple while I'm out. Im usually tipsy when I get there and stay that way for most the night.

It also means I can sober up faster, and considering I find it ...erm...hard to 'get it up' when I'm wasted....

It works for me.

I don't drink 99% of the time, but if I am going out on the pop then a few shots of Vodkas or Whisky before setting off certainly help grease the wheels.

I pre-drink.

I'll be off down the shop shortly for a nice bottle of white wine, i'll probably save a good £30 as i wont drink anywhere near as much whilst out.

:D

It's very rare I go out on a "large one" these days, but when I do, yeah I like to have a few cans with the others before leaving.

few beers / doubles are good before leaving, however 8 cans is going to get you beat up lol

Don't pre drink often. The last few weeks when I've been out I've not bothered. I did, however, on Wednesday as we had a BBQ then went into town. Only had two or three in town then switched to coke.
