Do you navigate away from webpages that have tedious ‘cookie’ pop-ups?

As per thread title.

I do. They are getting sneakier. Sometimes, even if you opt out, there are still a bunch of legitimate interest options selected. Other times, they hit you with a list of 800 ‘vendors’ to deselect.

I end up just not using websites that do this. I’m aware that browser plug-ins that auto-object to cookies can mine other data (including info from emails accessed via the browser) so I generally have no interest in using those.

Of course, pre-GDPR it’s been the case that you’re bombarded by cookies without knowing.

… I suppose the only sane way to navigate the internet is to accept all cookies and clear them every so often / after every browsing session!

Does anyone else find navigating the web increasingly pesky for these reasons?
