Do you run your timings at factory settings?

Hello all,
I was just curious as to how many people run their ram at the factory timings or do most adjust to lower if they can. I currently have OCZ Platinum 1600MHZ with my timings at:

dram freq-739mhz
FSB

RAM-2:8
CL-11
trcd-11
trp-11
tras-24
trfc-88
cr-1T

I believe the factory settings are lower than that and when set to auto my pc dectects them at the current timings.

Those timings are the SPD timings, so you safely can set them lower than that.

I have PC3-16000 RAM but it isn't supported by my mobo so I run it at 7-7-7-24, 1523mhz.

I run my OCZ Gold RAM @ 8-8-8-16 down from 9-9-9-24

I lowered mine to 7-7-7-18. Set to 1066 in bios then OC'd to 1480hmz. That's been the best combo so far.

run 2x2GB DDR3 1333Mhz at stock timings, but overclocked the speed.

stock: 1333Mhz @ 7-7-7-20-1t
run at: 1700Mhz @ 7-7-7-22-1t

guess i could do it the otherway round if i wanted.

I run at factory timings for RAM. How much real performance is actually to be gained from lowering them?
